What does Pelosi know?

Something happened in January that has bothered the heck out of me. It was the radical left's posterwoman Nancy Pelosi, saying that she is sure Newt Gingrich will never be nominated as the Republican to run for president against Barack Obama in November. Anyone watching the news clip of the interview could not avoid sensing that Pelosi was sincere in her prediction and that she seemed to be talking with absolute certainty of her facts. She did not say he would never become president, she said he would never be nominated.

And that is the worrying part.

Pelosi is smart, and as the matriarch of the Democrat party is knowledgeable about everything political, including the Republican party. She is an extremely powerful lady who has gained power by keeping her ear to the ground. She uses her insider knowledge to cajole and intimidate her adversaries to get what she wants. But like most people in power, her weakness is extreme arrogance fueled by a massive ego. In the interview she exhibited the need to let the viewing public know that she knew something that only someone in her position could know and this editor  doesn't believe it was her blowing hot air as so many of the political pundits said. I think she was partially disclosing an insider secret not meant for public knowledge. I think she knows the Republican party leadership will determine who is nominated and they have made plans to make sure it is not Gingrich even if voters choose him.

If I am right in my assumption then what is the consequence?

Could it be that Pelosi got her knowledge from her counterparts in the Republican party?

Could it be that the GOP leadership see Gingrich as a threat to the status quo agreed to with the Democrats?

Could it be that neither party intends to change the fiscal policies destroying America.

Could both parties be in collusion to have Mitt Romney run against Obama so that either winner would continue on the same path?

And could the Republican Primary be already rigged to choose Romney?

Why would they work so hard to do this, you say?

If spending is cut, the federal government downsized and the business playing field leveled, it would remove crony capitalism and the billions of dollars it sucks up. Thousands of millions being spirited away by bailouts and handouts to friends of the Republican and Democratic leadership would stop, and powerful federal agencies would have their teeth removed. The people would become more powerful and the government less. Just like in times past when America was the most revered and respected nation on earth.

The mainstream media, the Republican party, the Democrat party, Hollywood and liberal money, and federal government agencies, all want the borrowing and spending to continue unabated and reformers kept out. It keeps things to their liking and the money flowing. Hence the push for Romney, the GOP's version of Obama.

I believe Pelosi's revelation about Gingrich was the best thing she has ever done for her country. She sent the warning that Republican voters will not choose the nomination to run against Obama, that the decision has already been made to keep the same path, and of course she is happy with that.

Gingrich is not a perfect candidate to oppose Obama and reform America, but he may be up to the task if the Republicans tick him off with their lopsided and underhand support of Romney. Gingrich is no fool and should be well aware of the secret plan but unfortunately not many of the voting public smell the rat.... Yet. It is obvious conservative voters do not like or trust Romney. They are not entirely happy with the other candidates either but they know they don't want Romney because he is too liberal. I believe conservatives would muster behind Gingrich especially if he could somehow team up with a TEA party supported candidate like Ron Paul, Sarah Palin or Marco Rubio of Florida. Any one of these, or better yet, all three, would help keep Gingrich honest and America out of more debt. It will be difficult for Gingrich, or anyone else to overcome a concerted effort to rig the primary election by Republican party leaders. Helped by the media and liberal money, Romney will be the guaranteed winner, just as Pelosi predicted.

Of course I could be wrong, the Republican leadership could be working tirelessly to cut spending, the federal government, and job killing regulation and be dedicated to uphold the US Constitution and protect individual freedoms. But history and their recent actions in Washington have proved otherwise.

I believe the Republican party has joined the Democrats and the media to destroy the TEA party movement. The GOP leadership have proved they do not support the American people's insistence on spending, borrowing and government reform. They contribute to the problem they are supposed to fix and like it that way. That's what I think.
