The Tennessee Mockingbird

The ACLU and other Foes of the First Amendment

One thing a Christian can't  stand is a thief. In fact,  Scripture reveals that the  Almighty  Himself hates a "lying tongue," which is the appendage of a thief. And while it is one thing to steal bread if you're hungry, it is quite another to covet and grab our national Bill of Rights away from its rightful owner. This object of this particular thievery is the First Article to the national Bill of Rights. Not steal it because these seditionists are hungry for expression, but wish to use it as a license for unscrupulous merchants to sell vice. You will never find these aforementioned thieves opposing the vice market.
What is the final product of the theft and perversion of the First Amendment? I believe it is best summed up with the words of an Iraqi man who stated he wished the United States would take over Iraq because then there would be democracy, whiskey and women. And illegal Pakistanis are fleeing the United States into Canada because Pakistan won't tolerate sodomites. What a fine reputation the USA has since  the ACLU and the supreme Court has  crafted their obscene interpretations!
American archives are  now springing forth once more proofs of the Christian history of our country. Outstanding among these nuggets is the indisputable fact that only the Holy Bible, upon which our founders swore, will grant such a document as the Bill of Rights. Show me another country and its religious document which does so. In fact in 1937, the United States Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission issued an outstanding commemorative publication. Under the chapter called "The Heart and Soul of the Constitution," Page 183, our national Congress issued the following statement: "We hear it said that the Constitution is faulty because it does not invoke the name of the Deity. I hold that it does more than lean upon Divine strength. It strives to do God's will on earth, as it is done in heaven. Not a line, not a word in the Constitution is in conflict with the divine will. On the contrary, every word and every declaration breathes an ardent desire to pattern the American Nation in accordance with God's holy will.
"Can an atheist become President of the United States. I maintain that the spirit of the Constitution forbids it. The Constitution prescribes an oath or affirmation which the President must take in order to qualify for his office. This oath or affirmation in its essence is a covenant with the people which the President pledges himself to keep with the help of Almighty God." End quote.
In 1861, Cambridge University published "The Constitution of the United States for the Use of Schools and Academies" by Geo. S. Williams, A.M. This public school textbook commenting on the First Amendment plainly states that the purpose was to separate the government from the INSTITUTIONS of the church (baptism, tithe, property management, etc.) "It was thought the support and diffusion of pure Christianity would be better advanced by such separation." Did you hear this? "Support and diffusion of pure Christianity" was a matter of course and a very good thing. Of course.
The question is then put forth: "Can this article be considered hostile to Christianity?" "It cannot" is the answer. And goes on to say that "The States may make such laws as shall enable all denominations to accomplish the great objects of Christianity, by giving to each denomination the corporate rights necessary for the management of property. (6 Crunch's S.C. Reports, 43.)"
And this Authority goes on to say that the purpose of the freedom of the press secures the "right and means of making their grievances known to the government of the United States." Period. End quote. And you were under the impression that it was given so you can publish nude magazines and have the blessings of the founding fathers when you sinned! Now you understand why it was important for these perverts to disinter Washington and Jefferson and craft them into the same gadabout no-goods as the current entertainment scum. Liars and thieves they are.
Oh, brother! Where does the current run-of-the-mill atheism promoted by the ACLU and other no-goods end up under such a light of holy scrutiny? In Russia, where they belong, of course. And where belong the fundamental Christians whose beloved founders acknowledged God  as the Creator and Endower of such great rights? In office, of course
