It's LIBERAL POUNDIN' TIME!

Every Sunday, I look forward to the comics.  Being that my favorite, Calvin & Hobbes, no longer runs, I just stick to a few occasional laughs from the other ones.  So on Easter Sunday, I look through and smile and laugh at Zits, Dilbert, and others.  Then I came across Gary Trudeau's Doonesbury and was, needless to say, highly offended.
His comic strip often bashes Republicans, conservatives, and of course, President Bush, but I can deal with that after my bouts of snarling.  However - on Easter - he decides to not only deal shots at our president, but also at those believing in creation.
A character starts off thinking, "Onward Christian soldiers . . . marching off to pre-emptive war!" which caught my eye enough to actually read the biased thing.  Another character joins him, and they start discussing the cosmic regions of knowledge Bush is supposedly denying by not believing in evolution.  He goes on to point out that the only subjects that don't include teachings of evolution are gym and band.
In a nutshell, he's telling us that people who believe in creation are stupid.  Now, who, exactly, is he offending here?  Well, me, for one.  Also, President Bush.  And. .Oh yeah. . The three main religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.  Which covers over 60% of the world's population.  Trudeau purposely put this on for Easter, to even furthermore offend people.  It was also Holy Week for Muslims.
I, for one, do NOT like being called stupid.  Neither did my family.  Surprisingly, my mom was angrier with this than my dad.  She sent a letter to the editor, telling him not to run Doonesbury anymore.  With our newspaper though, The Tallahassee Democrat (if the name doesn't give it away enough, it's pretty liberal), I highly doubt it.
My whole family believes in creation.  My grandfather and my uncle both have Ph.D's.  Wow, Trudeau - do YOU have a Ph.D?  I think not, since you spend so much of your time figuring out ways to make 2/3 of the population infuriated.  Also, my other uncle scored 1510 on his SAT's and has three engineering patents.  All of them have great arguments disproving evolution and are extremely intelligent (where did ya think I got it from?) unlike the horrendous stereotype Trudeau tries to push.  Maybe he'd like to argue with them sometime.
If you were offended, please contact your local newspaper and tell them not to print Doonesbury anymore.  You need to get these people where it hurts most - their pockets.
