Letter to the Editor:
I was so thrilled with the stand the Bradley County Sheriff made on his website for God and Country. In a time when most want to "shy" away from our magnificent heritage, Sheriff Gobble told it just like it is.
After years of Zach Wamp and his "flip-flopping" and "waffling" on so many issues and then this last one on the "bail-out #1," it was incredible to hear him try to defend "his Monday vote then later in the week an opposite vote" on that "bail-out #1." I hope that he doesn't think common taxpayers thought he justified himself with his explanation. With Zach, his multitude of words usually ends up that he has compromised and his political ambitions are his chief end. He is a true politician trying to make folk believe he is so concerned about them meanwhile "feathering his own nest."
How the common, God-fearing people long for men and women who won't flinch, but will do right and stay bound by their Oath of Office.
God Give us Men.
For God & Country.
