Summer Fests

by Alexandra Edwards

Graduation days are over, laptops and  text books can be put aside for a few weeks, so let the summer begin!

Many families on a tight budget this year may find it difficult to afford the annual vacation they have been accustomed to. However, no need to be disappointed... We, in East Tennessee, are fortunate enough to live close to the national parks and the many attractions that surround them.

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have some great summer festivals and events throughout the season in celebration of their 75th Anniversary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
