by B.J. Armstrong

Tell me. Tell me, me oh my. Can you tell me what.... Supplements for health to buy?

With so many supplements on the market today, it's hard to know which to choose. But, here are some suggestions for supplements and herbs that can help with some of the most common health conditions. And remember, if your condition is severe or lasts more than a week; please consult a qualified doctor.

Since summer is here, we want to be in our best physical condition so we can enjoy the weather and feel good. We need Ginseng to improve our energy and athletic performance. We need our energy for soccer, tennis, swimming, baseball and softball. Hot weather calls for lots of water and juice drinking. Gotu Kola helps relive water retention plus helps the body rejuvenate itself. It also reduces fatigue. Bee Pollen is also a good to beat fatigue.

Competition in summer sports brings anxiety, insomnia, and maybe even depression. Calcium and Magnesium taken daily are natural tranquilizers. To

help with sleep, take Hops, Chamomile, or Passionflower. These supplements are all natural relaxants. Winners in sports commit themselves to constant self-improvement.

"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."
Hebrews 12:1.

"Life teaches us about the laws of averages. You can't get a hit in life if you don't keep on swinging. A quitter never wins and a winner never quits. There are people who whistle while they work and are magnificent at life, but then there are moaners and whiners. I tell kids, "Don't blame, complain, or explain."
---- Lt. Col. McConald Valentine.

Summer brings on activities that damage our skin and eyes if we are not

careful. Aloe Vera is very healing and moisturizing to the skin. It is astonishing how helpful it is for burns and blemishes. Vitamin A also helps the skin stay healthy. The B Vitamins, especially B2 and B3 supports good skin health. Do not neglect your eyes in hot weather. Always wear sunglasses when out in the

sun. And remember, they do not have to be expensive. All sunglasses made in the USA have to be made for protection from the sun. B2 supports normal vision health.

Bilberry improves circulation to the eyes. It has been stated that it may help prevent macular degeneration.

Our blood pressure and cholesterol can be affected in any season. Therefore, it needs to be kept checked often. Black Cohosh lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. Garlic, Cayenne and Hawthorn can lower blood pressure when taken consistently. Once you have corrected your diet and lowered stress levels; Calcium, Magnesium, B-Complex, Valerian, and Chamomile are helpful when taken weekly.

Burdock and Red Clover helps the body cleanse itself of toxins. Red Clover is high in many minerals and vitamins. It is very helpful for infection, inflammation, and the

general tendency to get sick. Fish Oil is also high in Omega-3 fatty acids. It thins the blood, improves the skin and hair and lowers blood pressure and cholesterol.

Summer weather takes its toll on our skin. For sunburn and skin irritations, take Calendula. It is very soothing and healing for the tender skin. Chickweed helps relieve and heal skin problems when taken internally or used topically.

In addition to a healthy diet and exercise, supplements of essential fatty acids, fiber and kelp can help you maintain a healthy weight. You should avoid stimulants and drink plenty of fluids. Try 3 or 4 small light meals in the summer for a nutritious diet. Get out in the sunshine and inhale lots of fresh air. Be sure to take a quality multivitamin/mineral supplement for supreme health to put you on your highest level of energy and enjoyment this summer season.

Empower yourself with knowledge and learn how to improve your health, safely and naturally.

O, God, forgive me when I whine,
I have two eyes, the world is mine!
Then walking down the street I saw
A pretty child with eyes of blue;
He stood and watched the others play;
It seemed he knew not what to do.
I stopped a moment, then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, Dear?"
He looked ahead without a word,
and then I knew he couldn't hear.
O God, forgive me when I whine,
I have two ears, the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I go,
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I would know,
O God, forgive me when I whine,
I'm blessed indeed, the world is mine.
