The "Power" of the Vote is Not Working

Letter to the Editor:

It is all too obvious that the "power" of the vote is not working. With no term limits, the culture of corruption and abuse has changed our Federal Government into a National Government Oligarchy, no longer representing "We The People" as a whole, rather representing self and special interests in the name of Political Correctness, Social Engineering, and Centralized Power! They have taken complete control of our states, using our money and Constitutional loopholes to justify "their way or the highway."

The States actually have the power under Article 5 of the Constitution, not to be confused with a Constitutional Convention, to stop the tyranny! They are either ignorant of this and how it works or lack the fortitude to take action. Are you aware that We The People are being denied our constitutional right to an Article V Convention to propose amendments, despite a whopping 750 (or more) Article V applications from the state legislatures of ALL 50 states?

Now it falls on our shoulders, the experienced American patriots, to let our state know we are behind it. That we will be there for and support it in every way. That we will accept no less than a complete return to the values instilled in the original Constitution and the Bill of Rights, realizing that neither would have been possible without The Declaration of Independence.

"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men (and women) shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." Samuel Adams, 1776

I remain an experienced patriot.
